USDA Rural Development: We offer loans, grants and loan guarantees to help create jobs and support economic development and essential services such as housing; health care; first responder services and equipment; and water, electric and communications infrastructure.
Kansas Office Of Rural Prosperity: The ORP is an effort to streamline rural policy, create an inventory of existing resources and initiatives while aiding in rural improvement efforts. The ORP will focus on connecting the people of Kansas to other communities and state agencies.
Rural Education Center: The Rural Education Center focuses its efforts upon the improvement of the education of the children and youth of the rural and small schools of Kansas and the regional area served by Kansas State University.
Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement: Our transdisciplinary, multi-institutional thought center is a generator and source of knowledge about new-media marketing. We approach problems through the lens of our home disciplines of agricultural communication, horticulture, and agricultural economics in a combined effort to enable rural and agriculture-based businesses to flourish in ever-changing environments while fostering positive changes to rural livelihood.

Kansas Farm Bureau: KFB is a non-profit advocacy organization established in 1919. Almost 100 years later, KFB stands up for its members through leadership development, agriculture education, legal defense, environmental advocacy, farm safety, risk management, rural development, and international trade.
Riley County Extension: Established in 1914, Cooperative Extension is a national educational network designed to extend technical expertise and research findings to help people improve their homes, families, farms, business and communities. Today Extension is the largest, most successful informal educational organization in the world.
Region Reimagined: The Region Reimagined Plan is a Tri-County community and economic development planning and implementation effort to build a sustainable path to regional growth and prosperity. Community stakeholders from Geary, Pottawatomie, and Riley counties (located in the Flint Hills of NE Kansas) are working together to implement strategies focused on Economic Diversification, Talent Attraction & Retention, Quality of Place, Built Environment, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The Region Reimagined Initiative is focused on working towards common goals, resolving mutual challenges, and taking advantage of aligned opportunities to overcome barriers and leverage resources throughout the region.
S.A.V.E. Farm: Service Member Agricultural Vocation Education a 501(c)3 Not for Profit based in Manhattan, KS. Our programs are open to everyone, not just veterans. SAVE assists in the placement of students upon completion of training.
Manhattan Area Technical College: Manhattan Tech provides high quality technical, general, and adult education to prepare individuals to pursue technologically advanced careers and lead productive lives in a dynamic and diverse global environment.
